Come and sit by the fire and enjoy a pint, indulge in our real ales and spectacular wine list whilst savouring the delights of The Brasserie. And when your evening comes to an end, head up to one of our boutique bedrooms to relax and rest your head for the night.

Dining

Located in the picturesque village of Lydgate in Saddleworth, our award-winning pub offers an extensive menu that can be enjoyed across the whole venue. Our dining areas (The Brasserie Barn Room, The Brasserie Old Tap Room and The Brasserie Dining Room) feature an array of delicious pub classics as well as beautifully cooked sophisticated dishes.

Rooms

We have 16 wonderful en-suite bedrooms, 12 of which are in the main building, which was built in 1788 and has retained a lot of the original features. We also have our newly-opened Cottage next door with four family suites, perfect for weekends away with either friends or the children.

Civil Ceremony Details

When you have made your provisional reservation at The White Hart, you need to contact the Superintendent Registrar at:

Notice must then be given, in person, to the Superintendent Registrar in the area where each member of the couple lives (as soon as possible, but within 12 months of the marriage). This notice must then be collected and delivered, by a member of the couple, to the Registrar attending the ceremony, if not in the Oldham district. Only a non-religious ceremony, music and readings are permitted by the Registrar.
